Welcome to the Yale Carbon Charge Project Blog.
While the Yale Carbon Charge Project is testing the effectiveness and feasibility of carbon pricing on Yale’s campus, we feel there is tremendous opportunity to use Yale as a living laboratory and export important learnings from our project to the broader academic, governmental, and business communities. To accomplish this, we will continue to release periodic reports to mark important milestones in the project’s development and plan to publish a series of white papers providing more details on the technical development of the project and its results. But, we also want to provide an opportunity to share our experiences, challenges and successes in real-time with anecdotal information that could be helpful to many.
Additionally, this will allow a platform for the project participants, advisors, and partners to share their thoughts directly to provide a diverse set of perspectives on various aspects of the project. It seems unlikely that there is a one size fits all structure for an internal carbon charge, so our hope is to inform and assist others in similar carbon charge endeavors.
Please feel free to contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org if there is a topic you would like to see us address with this blog. Thanks for reading. We hope you enjoy it and find it helpful in moving towards a low carbon future.
